Pune Branch New Building Project

The present Managing Committee of Pune Branch has taken various steps to resolve long outstanding issues of Pune Branch and with the support of members from Pune we are quite successful in our efforts.

Branch Premises is the burning issue of Pune Branch for more than a decade and we have come with a solution for the said issue.

A high level Pune Branch Building Committee has been formed consisting of eminent Members from Pune.

A large number of properties were visited, studied from various points and finally we have concluded with a very suitable and convenient proposal. It is a ready to use multi-storied building at Bibwewadi. Other relevant details of the property are as follows: -

DETAILS OF THE PROPOSOSED BUILDING

1. Location: -
Plot No. 08, Parshwnath Nagar,
CTS No. 333, Survey No. 573 Munjeri,
Bibwewadi, Off Pune Satara Road,
Pune - 411037.

2. Plot area: 6,200 Sq. Ft

3. Constructed area: - 8200 Sq.Ft.

4. Year of Construction: 2005

5. Locational advantage: -

  1. Situated on Service Road,

  2. Easily approachable from any corner of Pune City.

  3. No traffic disturbances. Ample roadside parking available.

  4. Situated in Commercial cum residential zone. So all civic amenities and facilities are available in nearby area.

  5. Convenient for staff and students.

  6. Easily approachable for faculties.

  7. Ready to use premises, can be put to use within three months from obtaining possession.

6. Formalities Completed: -

  1. Visited by CA Uttam Prakash Agarwal, Honourable Vice President, ICAI and CA Brij Mohan Agarwal, Honourable Chairman, WIRC.

  2. Proposal scrutinized by the Building Committee in detail keeping in view our present as well as future requirements and suitability of the building from that point of view.

  3. Obtained Legal, Structural and Architectural clearances

  4. Complete file submitted to the Legal Cell, ICAI and formally Cleared and Approved by it.

  5. Obtained permission to collect donations from ICAI, New Delhi. Donations are eligible for deduction u/s 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

  6. Opened separate bank account for collection of donations, titled as ‘Pune Branch Building Committee Account’.

7. Cost of the Building: Rs. 400.00 Lacs (including Stamp Duty and Reg. Fees)

8. Sources of fund:

  1. Out of balance with Pune Branch : Rs. 75.00 Lacs

  2. Building grant from ICAI : Rs.100.00 Lacs

  3. Donations from members in Pune : Rs.225.00 Lacs

We have planned to raise donations from members as follows: -

  1. Donations for Conference Hall,

  2. Donations for Information Technology Center

  3. Donations for Reading Room

  4. Donations from members as per their number of years practice. It is proposed to donate Rs.1000/- minimum for each one year of practice.

9. OUR CONSULTANTS:

  1. Legal: Advocate Kiran Kothadiya.

  2. Architects: H.M.Kadam and Associates

  3. Interior designer: Arch. Rajubhai Shah, Delta Corporation

10. Proposed utilization of the Premises: -

A) GROUND FLOOR:

  1. Student’s section: - Registration, Sales counter, distribution of study material.

  2. Members Section: Fees counter, Programmes Registration counter and Facilitation counter, Sales of publications.

  3. Store room.

  4. Reading room cum library for students.

B) FIRST FLOOR:

  1. Administrative office of branch

  2. Decentralised Officers Cabin

  3. Chairman’s Cabin

  4. Conference / Meeting room

C) SECOND FLOOR:

  1. Auditorium with seating capacity of at least 200 members.

D) THIRD FLOOR:

  1. Information Technology Training Center cum computer laboratory.

  2. Small auditorium for members and students with live telecast facility from Second floor.

E) TOP TERRACE:

  1. Pantry and dining facility.

Parking: Two-wheeler parking facility available within the campus. Sufficient Road side parking is available for cars.
